How to replace genie garage door sensors.
Find the wires connecting the sensors to the electricity and with the pin snips clip them loose.
Unscrew them from their positions on each side of the garage door.

Open the garage door.
First attach the wires to the screws on the side of the sensor by gently loosening the screws.

Attempt to close the garage door using a remote.
If the garage door opener closes the door with the safety sensors blocked replace the logic board.
Hook the wires under the flat square and tighten.
Ensure that it connects.
The door should stay open and the motor unit lights should blink.
